Lisa Jenkins' Biography

Lisa Jenkins, MPT, BBA, CHC—Program Instructor

Lisa Jenkins is a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida and is certified in Healthcare Compliance.  She is the founder of Clinical Resource Services, LLC.  She holds the position as President and Physical Therapy Consultant.  Her responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Development of all clinical materials and resources
• Presentation of continuing education seminars
• Conducting clinical and technical audits
• Consultation services from therapy perspective
• Development of future business and continued support for current business
• Management and operation of the business to ensure financial success including all aspects of finance, planning, staffing and marketing

  
Lisa’s desire for knowledge has been enhanced by a variety of experiences, such as the treatment of both pediatric and geriatric patients, orthopaedic and neurologic injuries, and wound as well as burn patients.  As a certified Clinical Instructor, Lisa has focused on educating others and sharing information in a variety of settings through:

• Speaking engagements on a variety of medical topics
• Hands-on/modeling of treatment to both therapy and nursing staff
• Educationally-based inservices to therapy and nursing staff

Lisa has also presented formal state board-approved education programs on a national level.  Some examples include:

Lisa is recognized as an expert in her field.  She has been published in several industry-specific publications including:

• Advance for Directors in Rehabilitation

Lisa brings to the table a solid academic foundation both from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences—Institute of Physical Therapy where she graduated with a Master of Physical Therapy degree, and prior to that from Stetson University where she obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.  Combined with a twenty-six year work history, twelve years of which being in management, she demonstrates the ability to adapt to a wide variety of situations, duties, and responsibilities.  Some of her accomplishments are listed below: 

• Achieved Board Certification for Healthcare Compliance, November 2008
• Cambridge Who’s Who Recognition in Registry of Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs 2008-2009 Edition
• Defended Medicare denial claims with Administrative Law Judge with 95% turnover rate
• Featured in “Empire Who’s Who Among Executive and Professional Women, Honors Edition,” 2006/2007
• Twelve years of managerial experience in fast-paced environments with completion of various management certification programs in April 1991; January 1991; June 1987; August 1986
